About us

We're a friendly and welcoming church, who have a concern to bring

Jesus into the very heart of the community in order that friends and neighbours might become committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our desire is to be a church where people feel that they really matter both to God and to others - where you can find God and make friends.

In our worship, we want to glorify God and enjoy him and to be taught from his Word.
The music is a mix of classic hymns and modern worship songs.

At our core is a simple pattern of life, rooted in the preaching and teaching of scripture, discipleship, prayer and worship, with an intentional focus on loving God and loving others more fully by reaching out in the wider community.

The Christian life is best lived out in meaningful and authentic relationships with God and each other. It is in genuine community that we grow and flourish in our faith together.

'Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 'Galatians 6:9

As a Church, we are passionate about sharing the good news of the Gospel with our local community.

Wiveliscombe although a small town, is a vibrant place with a deep need for the love of Jesus, and our calling as Christians is to meet this need wherever we can, by reaching out and inviting in all who are yet to experience this life in Christ.

‘The imperfect are perfectly welcome.’

Our ministry to the local community is carried out in a number of ways.
